Services

The Town provides a number of services to its residents including:

Water . . .

The Town provides safe and clean drinking water to 80% of residents.

Snow Clearing . . .

The Town has its own snow clearing equipment which is operated by a full-time employee of the Town.

Garbage Collection . . .

Garbage collection takes place once a week and an annual clean up week is held during the spring.  This service is also provided with Town equipment and staff.

Fire Protection . . .

The Town has a volunteer fire department in place consisting of twenty-two volunteer fire fighters. 

Recreation . . .

The Town has a volunteer sports and recreation commission which looks after the recreational facilities.  These facilities include a tennis court, softball field and playground.  These volunteers also arrange various activities throughout the year.
